Eco-Ed is based at the The 'Coach House' and has served as an environmental centre for the past five years. Debbie (a qualified teacher who became frustrated with traditional teaching methods) realised her dream of outdoor learning when she discovered the 'Coach House' and the surrounding fynbos and indigenous forest. It seemed the perfect place to implement nature programmes for learners, of all ages. Debbie and Welcome (Maswi Zweni) worked hard and tirelessly to carve out the Forest Adventure and Obstacle course on the property, (a high activity course designed to challenge learners balance, agility, strength, co-ordination and team work) whilst traversing through different Forest eco systems.
Eco-Ed have worked hard to set up many more activities on the property ….

They also host the annual Beyond Eden Women's Festival of Art, Music and Song, an event to celebrate the talents of local women artists. It is a day of laid-back live music in a peaceful relaxed setting at the Coach House. The idea of hosting the festival, is to involve women from all the local communities to participate in a fundraising day for local charities and to share their creative talents. It is a day of sharing and tolerance.
The 'Coach House' is located close to the Garden of Eden. Directions will be supplied when the appointment is made.
